A lot of thought and care has been put into the idea of inviting people in. Sometimes, Churches get so caught up in the day-to-day stuff going on that they forget to remind people that the doors are always open! Our parish has been here on the hill of Jenkins Street since 1937, but most people have never been inside. We encourage you to come in, see the beauty of our parish, and experience the marvel of Orthodox Christianity.
Another little-known fact: Orthodox Christianity is the oldest form of the Christian Faith - unchanged since 33 AD. Many versions of Christianity claim the same beginning, Pentecost of 33 AD, but they have all changed the method of worship since that time. Come and see why and how Orthodoxy has continued to survive and thrive through the centuries of trials, persecutions, translations, moves, and more!
